Welcome to The Jenny Project.

Make an ordinary day extraordinary with creative stories designed to get kids moving their bodies.

Creative movement is a passion of mine and it brings me such joy to share my movement stories with you.

The Jenny Project is a collection of unique movement stories created for young children designed to foster imaginative and creative movement. Each story is original and paired with music designed to stimulate imagination, promote creativity, and communicate with the body. I have taught at and owned my own dance studio for over twenty years. When my students come back to visit the studio, the first thing they ask for are my movement stories. They love them because they feel part of the stories. I am excited to share my stories to with you! They are available to use in your home, the classroom, library, after school program, or even in the car. Each story is accompanied by music and is 10 minutes long.  Ready to get moving and have some fun? All you need to do is clear some space, gather the kids and press play.

Creative Movement is a joyful way for children to explore movement through music, develop physical skills, channel energy, stimulate imagination, and promote creativity.

These stories are an excellent opportunity for children with communication, sensory, developmental, or physical challenges to express themselves.

Through movement, children learn about their bodies, the space around them, and each other. Creative movement activities should encourage all children to participate. All children can benefit, including children with communication, sensory, developmental, or physical challenges.

Creative Movement is a way for children to know themselves and to see connections with the rest of the world.  This is a way for them to understand themselves and their relationship with the world. Creative Movement activities can be used to enhance all areas of learning and growth.

“A Day at the Beach celebrates the common and extraordinary experience of going to the beach. Jenny's storytelling talent shines in the script and the inviting way in which we hear this beautiful story. The story is packed with soothing imagery and movement opportunities that are perfect for young children!”
